Most men don’t realize how far they’ve drifted from who they used to be—or who they could still become. Decline doesn’t happen all at once. It happens quietly. Slowly. One compromise at a time.

Where My Journey Began: Autoimmune Disease and a Crossroads
Over 25 years ago, long before “functional medicine” became a buzzword, my own body failed me. I developed an autoimmune condition so severe that at one point I was literally peeing blood.
Doctors told me medications were my only hope of saving my kidneys.
But I looked at the path ahead and thought:
“I refuse to live the rest of my life dependent on pharmaceuticals.”
Something in me knew there was another way.
So I dug deeper—into physiology, nutrition, inflammation, detoxification, cellular repair—and that began my lifelong fascination with root-cause medicine.
I didn’t just learn it.
I lived it.
And I proved my doctors wrong.
That was the spark that lit the fire.

33 Years of Transforming Lives—Not in Theory, but in Practice
Before I built It’s Only Halftime®, I spent decades building one of the largest wellness centers in the country—helping thousands of patients and clients reduce, prevent, or completely eliminate their need for pharmaceutical dependence.

I spent tens of thousands of hours in the trenches:

When My Testosterone Collapsed at 47
At 47 years old, despite training, eating well, and doing everything “right,” my energy vanished. My strength fell through the floor. My drive was gone. Something was off.
My lab results came back:
Total testosterone: 216 ng/dL.
Most men would’ve walked out with a prescription.
I refused.
Because I had spent my career proving the system wrong.
And I wasn’t about to quit on myself now.
I attacked the root causes—sleep, gut health, micronutrients, inflammation, mitochondrial function, stress, thyroid conversion, circadian rhythms.
And what happened?
I rebuilt my testosterone naturally to over 900 ng/dL.
No injections.
No pharmaceuticals.
Just biology + discipline + the right strategy.
So when I tell you it’s possible, I’m not speaking like a 25-year-old influencer with perfect genetics and zero responsibilities. I’m not an ex-professional athlete whose job was to stay fit.

Life Hit Me Hard—But I Hit Back Harder
My challenges weren’t limited to health.
I endured divorce.
I lost hundreds of thousands of dollars, my life's work, to a "trusted" no ex family member.
I had to rebuild my career from scratch.
I went through emergency back surgery and refused all pain medication afterward.
I lost my mom far too young.
Seven months later, I lost my father to suicide.
Every punch could’ve knocked me out permanently.
But I made a decision:
If life is going to test me, I’m going to show it what I’m made of.
This is why I tell men:
I will never ask you to do anything I haven’t already done.
Everything I teach comes from evidence, experience, and a refusal to accept decline.
